The mission of the Meadow Ridge PTA is to be a powerful voice for all children; be a relevant source for families and communities,
and to be strong advocates for the education and well-being of every child.
Our Mission
Children:
To promote literacy by hosting two Book Fairs with the proceeds being
used to purchase books and Accelerated Reader Supplies.
Enhance
reading comprehension by forming a group of volunteers dedicated to reading to children.
Teachers:
Formation of a group of volunteers to support time for Learning Teams (Professional Development) to take place.
Hosting of staff appreciation events throughout the year.
Parents & Families:
Work to support parents by sponsoring Parent Involvement Nights.
Role of PTA will be to provide volunteer support and assist in funding for activities.
Focus on Special Needs Awareness and how we as an organization can welcome families
of children with special needs.
Provide resources
or forums to parents & families on relevant topics.
